Can I customize how my inventory is packaged?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Click on an item in your inventory. You will then be able to add any special services for that item such as thick poly bags. Then select “Add Service” and “Save Service” to save your changes.

Question 3

How are shipping costs calculated and billed?

Accepted Answer

Shipping rates for FBA shipments are calculated through Amazon-partnered carriers like UPS or LTL and are charged to your Amazon account directly. Make sure the ‘Ship From’ address in your shipment plan is adjusted to PrepFort’s warehouse address to get the correct shipping pricing. Our intuitive software usually handles this for you!

Additionally, PrepFort uses ShipRelay for fulfillment, so are able to offer extremely discounted USPS, UPS, FedEx and International rates directly to you! Each order will be charged to the payment method you have on file. ShipRelay also allows for multi-channel integration so all your orders from platforms such as eBay, Shopify, Facebook, Woocommerce, etc. all show up in one place and are billed in the same place.

Question 4

How long can I store my products?

Accepted Answer

For 14 days after delivery, PrepFort will hold onto each shipment for free (if you have a subscription with us). There is a 90-day limit on unpaid storage. We shall then make an effort to contact you in regards to storage fees and late fees. The products will be liquidated to cover the cost of storage with extra liquidation fees and all other expenses tacked on if no movement is made toward removing the products from our premises.

Question 5

Can I add multiple items to my inventory at a time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! On the Inventory page select “Upload Spreadsheet”. Then select “Download Spreadsheet” to download a template. Fill out the template with the information for each item of inventory that you want to add. Save your filled out spreadsheet and select “Browse” to upload it to your inventory.
